WHO/WHAT:
Local and state officials, community members, college alumni and visitors from the entire east coast will join the Prince George’s Black Chamber of Commerce (PGBCC), for The Second Annual Prince George’s Classic, a three day celebration of sports, culture and community (See attached schedule). The event will culminate with an exciting football game predestined to become a gridiron classic. This year’s match-up pits the Morgan State University Bears, led by head coach Donald Hill-Eley, against the North Carolina A&T Aggies, led by head coach George Small.

WHY:
The Prince George’s Black Chamber of Commerce (PGBCC), founded in 2001, proudly presents The Prince George’s Classic, an annual three-day cultural extravaganza culminating in a televised football game between two Historically Black Universities. This proven venue for cultural celebration of community, education, camaraderie, and sportsmanship, has a long-standing history for building strong seasonal business growth and long-term economic alliances. PGBCC’s mission is to aggressively promote and participate in small and minority business prosperity and community enrichment in Prince George’s County. The Classic, as is inherent in its name, is a proven standard for joint business and community involvement in cultural and economic growth.
