Mr. Hubert "Petey" Green
President
Prince George's Black Chamber of Commerce
6009 Oxon Hill Road, Suite 206
Oxon Hill, MD 20745

Dear Mr. Green:

With great enthusiasm, I support the concept of an annual Prince George's Classic. I applaud
you and the Prince George's Black Chamber of Commerce for demonstrating continued leadership and
vision, key elements in the success of the County's economic development strategy.

As a proud graduate of a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), a week of golf
tournaments, concerts, fashion shows and parades culminating in a nationally televised football game
between HBCUs is extremely exciting. Moreover, as County Executive, the decision to invest in this event
is steeped in it's potential to yield tremendous returns for local, small and minority businesses. With a
projected $15 million economic impact, the Prince George's Classic is bursting with opportunity for may years to come.

I am personally aware of the Chamber's excellent reputation as an extraordinary force in the County.
By promoting business prosperity, enriching the community through mentoring, education and training programs, and generating development opportunities, your organization has helped to create a business
environment where companies can flourish. I have no doubt that the Prince George's Classic will not only
be a huge success, but grow exponentially with each passing year.

Therefore, on behalf of over 800,000 citizens living in Prince George's County, I commend you on
your dedication and outstanding commitment to the progress of this County. Furthermore, I am pleased
to show my support for the Prince George's Classic by working with you to make this event a complete
success.

Sincerely yours,

Jack B. Johnson
County Executive
