Hilton to give Alcorn fans special rate for Prince George Classic

ALCORN STATE, Ms. – The Hilton Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Virginia, is offering Alcorn State University football fans a special offer that they cannot refuse. To welcome Braves fans with open arms for the 1st Annual Prince George’s Classic, all ASU supporters will receive a special 75% discounted rate on room reservations. That is over $210 dollars in savings.

The Hilton Crystal City is centered in a perfect location. It is adjacent to the Ronald Reagan National Airport and just two miles from the government and business district of Washington, D.C., three miles from the Art Museum of the Americas, Smithsonian Institute, and Natural History Museum and six miles from the Washington Mall. Additionally, the hotel is just minutes from Interstate-95 and public transportation, which will take you directly to FedEx Field “The Home of the Washington Redskins” for the game.

To book your $69.00 room reservations click on the following link: Hilton Crystal City. After entering your personal information enter the code “PGC” in the promotion/offer code box to receive your discounted rate. You may also book your room over the phone at 1800-HILTONS or 703-418-6800. Make sure to have the code in hand to receive the discount if you make your reservations over the phone.

Alcorn State and Howard University will participate in the 1st Annual Prince George’s Classic on Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. ET. The Braves are 1-3 lifetime against Howard, despite outscoring the Bison by a touchdown, 141-134, in the series. Howard enters this year’s contest riding a three game win streak over ASU. Alcorn State last played Howard in 1995 and fell to the Bison, 21-17. In 1993, Howard nipped the Braves, 38-36, and again in 1992, 48-42. Alcorn earned its lone victory in the first meeting during the 1991 season. High off a thrashing of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference counterpart Hampton University the week prior, Alcorn continued its dominance with a 46-27 victory over Howard.
